ABOUT THE AWARD

The SICCI Singapore Indian Entrepreneur Awards (SIEA), first launched in 2004, has been presented annually to outstanding Indian entrepreneurs across Singapore, to recognize and reward their motivation, efforts and success. It is organized by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI). It is also supported by our official media partners Channel News Asia, Vasantham, StarWorld and Vijay TV.

Year after year, SICCI organizes a prestigious awards ceremony to mark the selection of the Top Entrepreneurs in the Indian community. This ceremony receives extensive media coverage and is graced by the presence of Outstanding Visionaries who will be recognizing the selected entrepreneurs on stage.

The SICCI Singapore Indian Entrepreneur Awards seeks to recognize the most outstanding,
inspiring and enterprising business leaders within the Indian community in Singapore.

RECEIVING THE SICCI SIEA

We would like for the award to serve as a reminder of the extent of resilience, persistence and adaptability required to succeed as an entrepreneur. These qualities are especially important for entrepreneurs in the Indian community to overcome traditional notions of success extant in the community thus far. This would also serve to inspire more Singaporean Indians to embark on the challenging yet fulfilling entrepreneurial journey. As emphasized by the SICCI Board of Directors, the SIEA awards serve to remind the Indian community of the outstanding individuals who are willing to step out of their comfort zones to create a legacy in their own expert field.

The SIEA is regarded by the wider business community in Singapore, as a prestigious award for exceptional leadership across a variety of enterprises.

Extensive media coverage is also provided, giving these entrepreneurs due recognition and enhanced corporate publicity. With a heightened public profile, these entrepreneurs will be able to further expand their professional networks and accelerate growth in their respective fields.

Channel News Asia, Vasantham, StarWorld and Vijay TV will produce a special SIEA supplement in conjunction with the SIEA Ceremony and Gala Dinner where the SIEA Winners will be announced. The Gala Dinner will be held on 31 March 2018 at Swissotel The Stamford. Subsequently, Channel News Asia, Vasantham, StarWorld and Vijay TV will profile the winning Entrepreneurs during the course of 2018.
